June 10, 2021 – Through the hard work of the BFCF as well as others, we were able to raise $1200 in support of the Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida. God is good!
The Boswell Family Charitable Foundation (BFCF), in partnership with the Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida - Food Pantry is kicked off the “Cans for Kids Summer Edition collection” from March 1 to May 2, 2021. Statistics show that one in five Floridian children struggle with hunger and 38.3% of Florida households receive supplemental support to feed their families. Of note, many parents depend on the school system to provide at least one nutrition-rich meal, if not two, throughout the school year. With these facts indicating a need, the Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida - Food Pantry host an annual food drive to help feed children facing food insecurity during the summer months. This year, the BFCF is partnering with the Food Pantry to expand the number of children that can be reached. 100% of all donations will go directly towards the Food Pantry.
