A Year of Impactful Scholarships Last year, the Boswell Family Charitable Foundation (BFCF) embarked on a mission to support the educational dreams of high school students in Montgomery, Alabama. With the launch of our inaugural Boswell Family Charity Scholarship, we had the honor of aiding three exceptional students with scholarships to assist in their first-year academic expenses. These scholarships not only helped alleviate financial burdens but also celebrated the remarkable achievements of our youth.
2023 Scholarship Recipients: A Testament to Our Mission The 2023 recipients, Tyreanna Causey, Mia Johnston, and Madalyn Milledge, exemplified academic excellence and community involvement. They have now embarked on their journeys at esteemed institutions like Faulkner University, The University of Alabama, and Tuskegee University, respectively. Their success stories inspire us and underscore the importance of our mission: to make education accessible to all, irrespective of financial background.
2024 Scholarship: Building on Success Building on this momentum, we are thrilled to announce the opening of our 2024 Scholarship Program. Running from November 1, 2023, to March 14, 2024, we aim to reach even more deserving students. The BFCF is dedicated to recognizing and nurturing the whole person, considering not only academic achievements but also community service, financial need, and personal communication skills.
2024 Eligibility and Application The scholarship is open to high school seniors attending selected schools in the Montgomery area. We seek students who demonstrate a commitment to their community and have a clear financial need. Applicants must submit a personal statement, a letter of recommendation, and proof of college or trade school application, among other requirements.
