I’m so happy to support the Boswell Foundation in this effort to feed the youth in the Fort Walton Beach community. It’s a sad reality that many children are only properly fed during the academic year. From personal experience, I know that being hungry limits your imagination, effort, and focus. It can leave a child to think there is no hope of greater if a steady meal is not even in reach. I also know from experience that the generosity of neighbors can not only provide a meal but also be a reassuring sign that God sees you and is taking care of you. I’m grateful to the Boswell Foundation for being a vessel for God’s love to reach children.

We were very happy to donate to the Boswell Foundation as no child should be left without essential items! Northwest Florida had an immense positive impact on my family and to be able to give back to the community children is the least we can do. We are grateful for a charity like this, as no child should be given less of an opportunity for things out of their control.

Midas' mom at Show-Me:  "The gifts were a blessing for this little guy. When he came to us, he had little to nothing. These gifts supplied many of his needs and wants, but more importantly, brought out the joy in our young man."

Joseph's dad at Show-Me:  "Joseph was so surprised and so blessed!  I got to share with him how some people love and care for others, even if they don't really know them.  Each gift brought an added layer of excitement -- not just for the items he wished for, but for the thought that somebody really considered him important enough to be loved."

Show-Me mother of Athena, Luke, & Justus:  "My kids really enjoy being able to pick out some specific things they really want and need. I am often pestered throughout the Christmas Season by kids wondering if anything has arrived off of their list. They can’t wait to see what they have been gifted. 

They are always happy with any gift they receive, but it means so much more to them that someone took the time to get exactly what they wanted. My older kids are especially grateful, as many of the items on their list are to help them get ready to launch into adulthood. This program has made our kid’s Christmas so much more special."  

Justus:  "These gifts meant alot to me.  I got some really cool stuff that I wasn't expecting.  I didn't know what Christmas would be like for me this year.  I'm glad somebody chose me to give me gifts.  I'm very happy!"

Athena:  I felt so special that someone wanted to do something for me.  It showed me that they care for me.  It was so sweet.  I love that people can be so caring and kind.  I hope God blesses them."  

Beyond receiving items the children really needed, the Christmas drive organized by (Mike Boswell/the Boswell Foundation), reminded our children that they are not forgotten -- they are very much loved.  They were honestly overwhelmed that someone who doesn't even know them would share a gift.  It was a display of the unconditional love of God our Father:  they did nothing to "deserve" it, but they received it, anyway.  We're grateful for those who made Christmas merrier for the kids.  They've made a lasting impact on the lives of some vulnerable, yet amazing, young lives.

It’s my honor to donate to the Boswell Family Charity Foundation! For nearly 20 years, I have seen Mike’s passion to help his community through action and faith. Whether he’s personally working with those less fortunate or providing a means for children to accomplish more, Mike and the Boswell Family Charity Foundation are making a difference. The Boswell Family Charity Foundation is principled and values-driven – Mike and his family are giving role models and it’s my pleasure to help them contribute to their community!
